It depends on what you are growing. If you are growing something that

takes a couple of hours to grow, it will die after about 2 hours after it has

finished harvesting. Or if you are growing something that takes a day or

more, it will die after 1 day after it has finished harvesting.

Yes, the same amount of time it took to grow them, it will take to wither. Raspberries are ready in 2 hours, but you have til 4 hours later to harvest them.

Things that take 3 days, you can harvest them up to 3 days late too.

I hate having withered crops, it makes me sad.

However long it takes for the plant to grow, is how long it takes to wither.
Ex.
A crop takes 2 days to grow, so it will take 2 days to wither.
